Well, well, good — lookie here. See which screenshot up above? That’s allegedly a shade shot of a Verizon Nexus One spec sheet, right off of Verizon’s Intranet Equipment Guide. Now, demeanour a bit closer. About 10 bullet points down. See it? “Sense UI (User Interface)”.
For those not gripping track, Sense is HTC’s user interface mod for Android. It proposed off essentially as a much-needed visible overhaul, afterwards came to embody facilities similar to Flash in a browser. It’s a flattering good further to Android – as well as it’s a single thing which a now accessible T-Mobile Nexus One is lacking.
Before removing as well excited: I’d take this with a grainiest pellet of salt you’ve got handy. Even if this screenshot is genuine (which you don’t have reason to doubt, so far), it’s utterly probable which it slipped in there unintentionally. The Nexus One is really most a Google-brand phone (albeit a single done by HTC), as well as HTC has told us all along which it won’t ever get Sense by central means.
But hey, things change, right? Perhaps Google as well as HTC have usually gotten a bit friendlier about a manners given Apple went upon a offensive opposite them.
Also value noting: according to a image, a Nexus One will usually be accessible by Google’s online store, rsther than than Verizon sell spots.
[Good find, Android Central!]

This seems like it doesn’t make sense, but actually it does. Verizon doesn’t want anyone messing with the Droid (stock) and it’s about to kill the Eris (Sense). Sure, the Incredible might be coming out too, but I don’t think Verizon cares if the Nexus cannibalizes the Incredible.
But then there’s the issue of what the purpose of the Incredible is if the N1 has Sense. Hmmm.
Verdict? Just put that Flash on nexus one and we should be fine!

Yup, screenshot is a fake, so stop drooling all you fag butts. Just sit back and wait for the stupid phone to come out before you all jump to conclusions. Photochop is your best friends geek dicks!

Nexus One with Sense would be a Hero if I’m not mistaken.

The screenshot looks to be a fake. The sizing is off — particularly where that 10th bullet is concerned. Moreover, the text is on the level, but the header is tilted.

Doesn’t HTC have their own Nexus One but under a different name and coloring option? I think that’s the one that has Sense. Maybe that’s why this information is confused? It’d be a pretty easy mistake to make.

Page seems suspicious or, at best, carelessly done, since the google URL is also wrong. The URL should be http://www.google.com/phone not /phones. I’ve been with Verizon since ‘96 and they are infamous for shoddy spec sheets.

wow.
I cant wait to get rid of my blackberry!!!
Greg, can you give “us” a rundown of what email is like in terms of latency/reliability/etc on Android-Stock-Sense-Motoblur
Blackberry is a smartphone but the browser and apps are…well crap. So email is really the main draw…how does Android stack up? Is it phone specific (motoblur=Noc so just like BB??)
Anyway…can’t wait to get my next phone in a month…IT WILL BE AN ANDROID!

So Verizon’s getting both the Nexus One and the HTC Incredible? Perhaps that’s why the Incredible’s being underclocked.
